NEVER A DAY TOO DEEP

The Gyrator combines legendary K2 performance with Rocker technology for those ready to go where no rider has gone before.

Effortless float replaces any and all leg burn while a slightly stiffer nose and tail increase pop and provide stability whether you’re dropping a pillow line or sticking a 60 foot tabletop. No directional board limitations and Hyper Progressive sidecut lets you float through the deep stuff while still handling groomers and flats with ease. Fast, stable and fun. Either you’re in or you’re left behind!

Board Technology

4000 Sintered

Fastest natural base material available

Durable

Absorbs wax faster

Retains wax longer

Hyper Progressive
Similar to a formula one car suspension, our Hyper Progressive sidecut allows for ultra fine adjustment at any speed and in any condition. An infinite number of different radius are blended together flawlessly from mellow in the tips, to more aggressive in the center. This sidecut mellows out the transitions leaving you with the most predictable, best all around riding board on the market.

Hybritaper Tip
Hybritaper takes our current Hybritech Board Technology, and tapers out the core at the tip and tail to reduce the swing weight. We blend the tips from a cap into a thin sandwich removing the sidewall where you don’t need it.

Powder Rocker – Rocker Range: 13mm+/260mm+
Our Highest amount of Rocker enables to board to float effortlessly in anything over 4”, get in some deeper snow and you’ll have a huge smile. The full length hyper progressive edge combined with the shortened effective edge makes the board maneuverable and lively on groomed terrain while the stiffer nose and tail prevent the board from buckling whether you are dropping a pillow line or sticking a 60-foot cliff.

POP 2
Matrix I performance enhanced with additional carbon bracketing the center of the tip and tail = Unrivaled ollie performance, powerful pop and fine tuned edge control.

Triaxial
Glass with a directional element stiffens the board torsionally. Best bet for improved edge hold and off axis stability.

Honeycomb Technology
We use urethane skinned honeykomb in our top of the line cores. Simply stronger, lighter, and damper than the wood it replaces. We keep the tip to tail, rail to rail wood performance by inserting Honeykomb only on the lower surface of the core. You get all the benefits of honeycomb without that tin can feel.

WH4
The WH4 Core maximizes absolutely every element of our core. With a greater percentage of Honeykomb than the WH3 Core, it’s engineered to maintain durability at minimal weight.

REDEFINING THE WAY WE ALL RIDE POWDER

The Gyrator will take you places you’ve only dreamed about.
Challenging the conventional thinking behind snowboard engineering with a board that is close to all of our hearts. The 2008 Gyrator. Inaugurated twenty years ago, the Gyrator is back to redefine how we all ride powder. With a surf inspired Rocker built in, this board will help you float atop the deepest powder and explore terrain you have only dreamed about. Although designed specifically for the deep stuff, the Gyrator’s Hyper Progressive Sidecut and Multi Superlight Core keep it maneuverable and lively in many conditions.

Artist Profile
Proud to bring back our first deck for our 20th! Its like rollin’ out your classic car, waxin’ it up and thrown’ some 22’s on it for some new school bling. Its such a classic, from the neon, to the original K2 brush stroked logo. “We just changed up the paint, the bling, and all the curves.” – Cory Little, Artist

K2 Gyrator Specifications

NEW! MULTI SUPERLIGHT
The Multi Superlight Core maximizes absolutely every element of our core. This is the best performing and lightest weight core in our line. With a greater percentage of Honeykomb than the Multi Light Core, it is engineered to maintain durability, yet be the most naturally light and lively core period.

NEW! HYBRITAPER TIP TECH
Hybritaper takes our current Hybrid Construction, and tapers out the core at the tip and tail to reduce the swing weight. We blend the tips from a cap into a thin sandwich removing the sidewall where you don’t need it.

NEW! ROCKER
Surf inspired, reverse camber design, providing maximum powder floatation.Sometimes a moment comes in design where you have an epiphany. Camber is for groomers, ROCKER is for powder. The rocker helps the board rise to the surface in powder or any condition, while the rider maintains a centered balance for maximum control. Although designed specifically for powder, we designed enough sidecut to provide great maneuverability and versatility on firmer conditions, or just to get back to the lifts for another lap. We guarantee you’ll have that WTF moment, but in a way that leaves a smile on your face for days.

4000 SINTERED

Fastest natural base material available

Durable

Absorbs wax faster

Retains wax longer

HYPER PROGRESSIVE
Similar to a formula one car suspension, our Hyper Progressive sidecut allows for ultra fine adjustment at any speed and in any condition. An infinite number of different radii are blended together flawlessly from mellow in the tips, to more aggressive in the center, thus allowing you to have exactly the right sidecut at any moment throughout your turn. No more all or nothing sidecuts that seem to be mellow initiating a turn, then hooky once you really get into them. This sidecut mellows out the transitions leaving you with the most predictable, best all around riding board on the market today.

BIAXIAL
Best performing all purpose glass for stiffness down and across the board.

TRIAXIAL
Glass with a directional element stiffens the board torsionally. Best bet for improved edge hold.
